Allison Brooks Janney (born April 14 on the 14th of April, 1970) is an American actor. Her roles both on stage and in the screen have won her many prizes, such as the Academy Award for Best Actress and the British Academy Film Award for Best Film as well as The Golden Globe Award for Outstanding Film, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards as well as nominations to the Tony Awards. Faris initially said she quit to look for different possibilities. Now, she's revealing more information on the reason she chose to quit acting. She says it wasn't an intentional decision. Janney was wearing an unreal wig since the beginning of the show. "I'm telling you guys, I've been wearing a wig since season one but nobody realized it,' she explained to Fallon in her interview, and then added, so everybody in the world knows that it's there today. Janney is hoping to bring her wig back. The actress reportedly earned anywhere as high as $125,000 for each episode during the early seasons of the series. The show's creators estimate that in the third or fourth season however that Faris and her co-star Allison Janey were earning $200,000 per episode.
