In 2006 she started her online blog pioneerwoman.typepad.com and later changed the name to Confessions of a Pioneer Woman and finally to The Pioneer Woman. Confessions of a Pioneer Woman has been one of her popular pages. This blog gained huge acclaim and success with several prominent publications applauding her writing style her ideas and some high-quality photographs. The blogs also contain attractive food recipes that are visually appealing. Her television show, The Pioneer Woman, that is still airing today on The Food Network today was created in the year 2011. The majority of her cookbooks contain recipes. Columbia Pictures announced recently that the film version of her book"From Black Heels To Tractor Wheels is scheduled to be released.
